Leftover Creamed Rice
A perfect alternative to the normal protein oats in the morning. Quick and easy high protein creamed rice using the left over rice you have in the fridge.
INGREDIENTS
150g leftover cooked rice, we used short grain rice.
150g high protein yogurt
15g protein powder
70g frozen blueberries
15g Peanut butter
35mls sugar free maple syrup
1/2 tsp cinnamon
METHOD
Reheat leftover rice in the microwave for 90-120sec. Remove from the microwave and let stand.
Place the berries in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30-60 seconds.
In a seperate bowl, mix the yogurt and protein powder together until dissolved. Then, add the cooked rice stirring through the yogurt.
Once combined, top with the peanut butter, berries, sugar-free maple syrup, & a sprinkle of cinnamon.
