Leftover Creamed Rice

A perfect alternative to the normal protein oats in the morning. Quick and easy high protein creamed rice using the left over rice you have in the fridge.

INGREDIENTS

  • 150g leftover cooked rice, we used short grain rice.

  • 150g high protein yogurt

  • 15g protein powder

  • 70g frozen blueberries

  • 15g Peanut butter

  • 35mls sugar free maple syrup

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

METHOD

  1. Reheat leftover rice in the microwave for 90-120sec. Remove from the microwave and let stand.

  2. Place the berries in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 30-60 seconds.

  3. In a seperate bowl, mix the yogurt and protein powder together until dissolved. Then, add the cooked rice stirring through the yogurt.

  4. Once combined, top with the peanut butter, berries, sugar-free maple syrup, & a sprinkle of cinnamon.
